Brenda has been a member of KV Women's Club for 5 years. She is a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones in DeMotte. She has lived in DeMotte nearly 6 years with her husband Mike and 3 children. Her family is active in her church as well as other community projects. In her spare time Brenda enjoys spending time with family and church friends.

A teacher by profession, a mother and grandmother by loving choice, and a secretary and gopher by need, Janeen Swart is a combination of all of these. Being a third grade teacher for 25 years has given her insight into what children love to read. Living on a farm in Indiana has given her a chance to be aware of nature, including raising at different times, cows, chickens, goats, geese, and one pig. And of course there was always a family dog and a few cats around the farm. Now as a retired teacher, Janeen loves caring for her five grandchildren whenever she can and working for various civic organizations keeps her busy.

Kay Spurgeon has been a club member since 1978 . She has served on many different committees and has held offices at club, county, district and state levels.
Kay is married to Joe. They will celebrate 40 years of marriage in October. They have two children, Dana Vander Molen and Keri Smith. They are also blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren and another one expected in March.

As a newly retired elementary teacher Kay plans to take advantage of her free time. Kay enjoys church and community activities. She is now taking a course to become a Stephen Minister.

Bonnie has been a member of the GFWC Kankakee Valley Women's Club for thirty years serving as president, vice-president, recording secretary and corresponding secretary. She has served as GFWC IFC Director of Juniors (2008-20100), on the JPL County Board and currently serves as GFWC IFC chair for the Arts Collaboration Program, chair for GFWC North West District Juniors' Special Project, chair for GFWC IFC Riley projects and is responsible for the websites for IFC and KV clubs.

In her spare time Bonnie enjoys socializing with her three grandchildren, flower gardening, traveling and baking bread. She and her husband, James, have lived in the Demotte area since 1980.

Rita has been a member of the GFWC IFC Kankakee Valley Women's Club for over forty years. She has served as President,co-President, and all other offices at one time or another. Currently she serves as GFWC IFC Chair for the Juniors' Special Project, Advocates for Children.

Rita and her husband, Wayne, will be celebrating their 50th Wedding Aniversary in June. She enjoys spending time with their 3 children and eight grandchildren.
